Collection of manuscript love letters (165 letters, circa 900 p.) from a kindergarten teacher living in Los Angeles, Calif. to her fianceĢ stationed at an Army Air base in San Diego, Calif. Written over the course of 278 days, the letters provide numerous details of the life of an ordinary citizen during World War I including church activities, family outings, and descriptions of war-related events designed to boost morale. Also includes a kindergarten student crayon drawing of seven Allied flags.
